This project assessed the long-term effects of mothers' involvement in children's distance learning programs on digital connectivity, agency, and socio-economic empowerment. Using field surveys and socio-economic analyses, the study examined changes in digital access, gender attitudes, decision-making capacity, and economic behavior. The findings contributed to a better understanding of how digital inclusion can enhance women's empowerment and informed future policies and programs supporting gender equality and inclusive development in Bangladesh.

This project assessed the psychological resilience and coping mechanisms of cyclone- and salinity-affected populations in coastal Bangladesh to understand the mental health impacts of climate change and community adaptation strategies. Through field-based surveys, community engagement, and socio-psychological assessments, the project examined resilience, coping behaviors, and psychosocial well-being. The findings provided evidence to support mental health interventions, strengthen community resilience, and inform policies for climate adaptation and disaster risk management in Bangladesh.

This international training workshop strengthened the capacity of researchers and practitioners to apply Earth observation technologies for enhancing climate adaptation and resilience across the Asia-Oceania (AO) Region. Through hands-on training, technical sessions, and knowledge exchange, participants developed skills in geospatial analysis, remote sensing, and climate information applications for disaster risk reduction and sustainable development. The workshop fostered regional collaboration and promoted the use of Earth observation data to support evidence-based climate action and resilience planning.
